Karachi Mayor Visits Benenv for Inspection and Exchange

Recently, Mr. Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Mayor of Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, and his delegation visited Benenv for inspection and exchange. Karachi is Pakistan's largest city and the capital of Sindh Province, with a population of approximately 20 million, the largest in the country. James Jiang, Chairman of Benenv, personally received the delegation and extended a warm welcome to the Mayor and his party. Subsequently, the two sides held in-depth exchanges and discussions on environmental protection technology innovation, urban environmental governance, and future cooperation opportunities.

Pakistan's growing population and urbanization are driving strong demand for water, sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, and solid waste disposal. Karachi, as Pakistan's largest city and economic center, offers broad market space in water infrastructure, sewage reuse, industrial environmental protection, and sludge reduction. Growing focus on sustainability will create more opportunities for efficient, reliable, cost-effective environmental technologies and equipment.

Mr. Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited the Yixing Urban Sewage Resource Concept Plant. With the goals of "sustainable water quality, energy recovery, resource recycling, and environmental friendliness," the plant comprehensively demonstrates the concept that "sewage is a resource, and a sewage treatment plant is a resource factory." He spoke highly of this, stating that these concepts represent the direction of future development and have important reference value and guiding significance for the development of Pakistan and Karachi.

In the future, Benenv will leverage its strengths to expand into Pakistani and South Asian markets, exploring cooperation in sewage treatment, sludge disposal, industrial environmental protection, and resource utilization—driving green development through innovation and shared value through partnership, contributing China's environmental strength to global sustainability.
